What's your tree?

I'm a weeping willow...

I guess that's right. However, I like the Virgo description. It fits me better. :D

They got me wrong. I ain't no stinkin' lime tree. I'm a pine tree, dammit, right down to the low self esteem part, (which is the reason I'm such an ass around here.) I even grew up with over a dozen pine trees in my yard, and a tree fort in one of them. But I do like that old song "You put the lime in the coconut..."

That reminds me, I have to finish editing my LimeWire Girl story and post it. (Now I need to go back and see which tree includes 'procrastination' and 'easily distracted' in the definition, because that would be me.)

I'm a "Lime Tree?" The descriptions begins 0-2 with: intelligent, hard-working. In the immortal words of Bob Dylan, "It ain't me babe." :D

Rumple Foreskin

It might be half right. Of course most of the trees would be half-right, kind of like a horoscope.

But I share a tree with Impressive and English Lady, pretty nice company!

It says I'm a Rowan. I don't even know WTF a Rowan is! And just how sensitive can you expect an Asperger's to be, anyway? Plus I'm forgiving. Bullshit to the max!

And that's not intended to be any kind of slur on Rob, people.

I'm a hazelnut Tree....hummm I like what it says and most of it's true....I am very demanding but also understanding and I do make a lasting impression!

Hazelnut Tree (Extraordinary ) -- charming, sense of humor, very demanding but can also be very understanding, knows how to make a lasting impression, active fighter for social causes and politics, popular, quite moody, sexually oriented, honest, a perfectionist, has a precise sense of judgment and expects complete fairness.

This is what a Rowan Tree is....When I lived in Scotland there were rowan trees...;)

The name "rowan" is derived from the Old Norse name for the tree, raun or rogn. Linguists believe that the Norse name is ultimately derived from a proto-Germanic word *raudnian meaning "getting red" and which referred to the red foliage and red berries in the autumn. Rowan is one of the most familiar wild trees in the British Isles, and has acquired numerous English folk names. The following are recorded folk names for the rowan: Delight of the eye (Luisliu), Mountain ash, Quickbane, Quickbeam, Quicken (tree), Quickenbeam, Ran tree, Roan tree, Roden-quicken, Roden-quicken-royan, Round wood, Round tree, Royne tree, Rune tree, Sorb apple, Thor's helper, Whispering tree, Whitty, Wicken-tree, Wiggin, Wiggy, Wiky, Witch wood, Witchbane, Witchen, Witchen tree. Many of these can be easily linked to the mythology and folklore surrounding the tree. In Gaelic, it is Rudha-an (red one, pronounced quite similarly to English "rowan").

One particularly confusing name for rowans, used primarily in North America, is "mountain ash", which falsely implies that it is a species of ash (Fraxinus). The name arises from the superficial similarity in leaf shape of the two trees; in fact, the rowan does not belong to the ash family, but is closely related to the apples and hawthorns in the rose family.

Yes, another old thread brought back to life.

I am shy and reserved, sometimes nervous, I think maybe complexities is pretty accurate. I used to have a good memory, I do learn easily and my love life has always been complicated. Not sure about the imaginative and creative. Maybe. Hungers for new experiences--maybe, sorta. I'm not sure.

I'm saying nothing, except I hope it's true. Only those who know me well can tell if it's true.

I didn't realise this was an old thread. Interesting.
