What's your number?

A number that would be more interesting to me than the number of accounts created is the number of stories in the file. Once you could get that from an "All Stories" alpha list, but I can't find a way to do that now.

I suppose you could do it by going to the Erotic Story Categories list and adding up all the stories for each category, but that would be a pain in the ass to do and you'll only get a rounded-off number.

My recollection from before was that it was around half a million stories, and there are 100-150 new ones every day, so that's 36,000 to 50,000 new stories every year.

It probably shouldn’t if you think about last year alone, which makes me curious what the number looked like from 2019.

Not hard to find out by changing the number in URLs.

So approximately 440k accounts created over 2020.

That said, when I was trying numbers in that range, something like about 80% of those links are invalid. I don't know whether that means some numbers were unused, for whatever reason, or if they're accounts that have been deleted. If the latter, I'd guess spam-related, seems like too many and too recent to be user regret.

So the raw numbers may not be a very good guide to how many real people have been joining.

Laurel is #7. #1 looks to have been deleted, if it ever existed.

Pretty sure numbers are sequential with date of creation, yes.

I would suspect #1 was Tim. But I don't know that for sure.

A shame I didn't bother registering until 2011 #1330406

Saw a three digit member ID just recently. Signup was in '99.
