Hey folks,
I just found this IQ test on the net and it seems pretty scientifically acurate. I just wanted to share it with you guys. A note for anybody who wants to take it... it's a little tough. And no, it's not one of those dumb ones for teenagers... you know the kind that ask questions about boys and shit.

My IQ was 113, and it said I am percision processor. Meaning I can find answers to problems quickly and I am good thinking on my feet. It said more, but I forget now. lol. Let me know what your IQ is and what kind of a thinker you are.

I came in at 131 and I am a meticulous collector. I think this test is not too accurate as it seems like everyone who has responded has been way above normal in intelligence. I mean I like to think I am smart, but life has a way of proving me wrong.

when I first posted this link I thought to myself "I hope I don't end up looking dumb." And look what has happened. According to the test, you're all super bright... here I am with a 113... and you all have 130s or more! As far as I know 160 is the top of the IQ chart... am I wrong?

By the way... what is average? Perhaps I need to retake the test?

Ok, I took the test again after posting this message. This time I paid more attention and took a little longer. I came up with a 127. Just for myself. I don't feel so dumb now. And hey... LIVED is DEVIL backwards! lol. Can't believe I missed that one.

I doubt very much that My IQ score is accurate.

First of all, all IQ tests prove is that you are good at taking tests.

Secondly, I am an english major, so my score reflects the fact that I know a lot of eldritch and esoteric words. (Brownie points to anyone that knows what either of those two words mean.....)



Fuck the scores..... Actually forget the scores and take off your clothes and write about fucking.... heh

I like the multi-faceted intelligences described in Frames of Mind by Howard Gardner. He theorizes that there are seven kinds of intelligence. The IQ test only measures one.

But I like how this test gives you the "Meticulous Planner", "Mathematical Mind" stuff. That is it's real significator.

ok, I just noticed this. This test isn't all that accurate. I suck at math. I fail half my tests, barely pas the rest and have avoided repeating every math subject i ever took by a fingernail.

and yet the tests says my 'exceptional math and verbal skills'. verbal - maybe, but math? Oh hell no.

It is a real IQ test, at least in terms of having reasonable questions for an IQ test. If you are referring to the range of scores that we are getting, that can be attributed to computer users who write erotica being of above average intelligence or that people who would take an online IQ self-select to the higher IQ ranges.

The last IQ test I took, which was targeted at high IQ persons, scored me higher than this test did. It was a very in-depth test that took me several days to complete (the test was designed to be taken over an extended period, so that didn't skew the test).

And when I took this test and selected answers by the pattern 'a, b, c, d, e', I got a score of 88, so it appears that wrong answers are counted.

And besides, who cares. We are just taking it for fun, anyway. It's not like some agency is going to hire us because of our score.

I came out as a 131 as well..wow up until I read everyone else's posts I thought I was a genius :-(

The scores are unrealistic, we had a nationwide IQ test on national Television here in New Zealand a while back that was very accurate and I was 121. I have done other internet IQ tests and come out about 120 or so.

Ah well it was fun..and only cost me 15 U.S. Ouch!

I would tend to agree given that everyone is scoring within a couple of points of each other... Sounds like a ploy to sell emode services.

I'm just saying that the questions seem like real IQ test questions, and wrong answers give low results. Perhaps folks who use the Internet and write erotica are above average in intelligence. I'm not saying its terribly accurate, but the folks on here are self-selected. It's kind of like running an Internet poll. You get skewed results.
