What's Your Favorite Subway Sandwich?

My favorite Subway sandwich is the foot-long meatball sub. Hmm...hungry. :p

to eat on the subway in D.C.

I know, Yogi. I lived there last year. No eating or drinking on the Metro. So, on long trips, I just slept. *snore* ;)

Hi Chief

What brought you to our beautiful nation's capital? Did you enjoy your time here? I came to DC for college and stayed.

At the risk of reraising the "Fish" ire...

I personally prefer their Seafood Salad on the Asiago <sp?> Bread with Black Olives... Yummers!!!

But here's the catch! The damned Subway in my home town seems to "run out of bread" all the flipp'n time!!! I'm curious... Anyone else ever encounter that at a Subway, or any other Sandwich shop of any kind??? :::Really pisses me off:::

Mmm, love Subway.
Hmm, I think it's a toss-up between the Steak n Cheese and the Seafood Salad. Oregano and Cheese or Asiago Cheese for the bread, provolone for the cheese. :)

I came for a job opportunity. I was there much of the year 2000. Things didn't quite go the way I expected but it was certainly a learning experience. Someday, I'll return to Washington. I love the area.

12" Cold Cut Trio

On wheat with pepperjack cheese, mayo, spicy mustard, everything but lettuce and jalepnos.

Incidentally, in Mexico a fish taco is just that; a taco with shredded fish. Very good actually although I wouldn't exactly want to see it show up on the menu at Taco bell!

I'm offended by the "fish" connotation.

Apparently you have been with women who don't believe in good hygiene.

Anyone who described my scent as "fishy" wouldn't get within 10 feet of MY pussy.

There's a place called Wahoo's a few miles from me that sells fish tacos. No, not those fish tacos. Real tacos with fish instead of beef or chicken. Not bad but not my favorite.

12 inch Seafood salad with pickles on white... gotta be good for you

I have two.

In cold weather, I love the meatball sub, on Asiago. No toppings. Yep, that's right, none. Hate veggies, and dressings.

My other is the Ham and Turkey breast. I like it on either italian, or asiago. Again, no toppings. :)

Yes, I've had them. Also offers shrimp tacos which are surprisingly good.

Sorry board if I offended anyone with my reference to fish tacos.

Its been quite a long time since I've taken the Subway - though I used to do so all the time when I lived in NYC. I found that there pretty much wasn't any sandwich or other form of food that was in any way appetizing while riding the subway.

Well if I go there for breakfast, it's the steak and egg with green peppers, onions, and hot peppers.

Most often I'll go for the southwest chicken on asiago bread with the southwest sauce, onione, green peppers, hot peppers, jalapeno peppers, lettuce, and tomato. No oil and no olives. Last time I was there, they had a spicy chicken with Louisiana hot sauce. Damn that was good!
