Led Zeppelin - after all these years they still deliver the goods.

I have a whole lot more on my list, but name yours...

I can't name one band. But I might be able to narow it down to a few ;)

Morbid Angel has been near the top of the list for a while, and after eight CDs I still love them every bit as much as I did back in the early 90s when I first heard them. Plus, Trey Azzqgthoth is one of the best guitarists I have ever heard or seen live.

Nothingface creeped into the top of the list in the late 90s. They only released four CDs, but the first three didn't have a single bad, or even average song on them. That is as close to perfection as I have ever seen from any band.

Devil Driver is right up there as well. I'm not too well versed on their first two CDs as I haven't listend to them nearly as much as their third, but I can't stop listening to them. Sometimes I have to force myself to listen to somebody else for a while, like a week, so that i don't burn out on them like I have other bands.

What? Were you expecting to know or like any of the bands I was going to list? ;)

I've given up on these "favorites" lists. Mine is so damn long. It starts with Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Mahler, Strauss, Stravinski, Correlli, Prokofief, Corngold-- and goes on from there. Bird, Gillespie, Davis, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Marcus Allbright-- Beatles, Doors, CCR, CSNY, The Band, Bob Dylan, Jethro Tull, 5th dimension, Temptations, War, Santana, Malo, Earth Wind and Fire, Jackson 5, Four Tops, Beach Boys, Byrds, Who, Stones, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Roxy Music, T Rex, David Bowie, Mott The Hoople, The Faces, Elton John... Talking Heads, Prince, Parliament, Run-DMC, X, the Cramps, The Pogues, the Clash, REM, U2, Green Day, Coldplay, Dolly Varden, Los Lobos, Jack Johnson, Ya-Ya-Yas, NIN, New Queens of the Stone Age, G-love, Gorillaz, D.J. Qbert, Andre 2000, Gnarls Barkley, the Shins, Flaming Lips, Starlight Mintz, Red House, Dept of Eagles, Joanna Newsome, Devendra Banhardt, White Stripes, Fleet Foxes, and I give up. I could keep on filling in between names forever.

Pink Floyd. It starts there, and it ends there. David Gilmour is precisely why I play guitar.

I like anythign and everything, but am particularly fond of Kasier Chiefs, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and The Blues Brothers. They were an actual band, you know.

I like tons of artists and many different styles, but I'm in my favorite band. Just worked out cool like that.

The Eagles
Brooks & Dunn

Ha! I know what you mean...lot's on the list with a flavor of the moment! You forgot Three 6 Mafia - catchy! They remind me of Julliard graduates trying to act all thug, like those guys in Malibu's Most Wanted.

Pink Floyd. It starts there, and it ends there. David Gilmour is precisely why I play guitar.

How's that for inspiration!

I have the Blues Brothers album - they were good!

I like tons of artists and many different styles, but I'm in my favorite band. Just worked out cool like that.

Same here. Except for the band part.

I know they live on E Street, just can't think of the name . . .

Hmmm, tip of the tongue...

Favourite as in what I would listen to over and over again, or have a tendency to reach for first? Well...it sort of depends on my mood, but I would have to say that first place usually goes to....

ABBA.

Rubber.

I don't know what I'd do without them. They come in handy. Sometimes, I wear one on my wrist.

Sometimes I use them as a weapon, snap them at my unsuspecting secretary when she's bending over at the file while showing some panty.

"Bullseye!"

Sometimes when my rubber band is too tight, I get a little cranky, but I'm okay now.

My second favorite band are...bandaids.

Thanks for asking. I betcha you're sorry you asked.

Tons of classics. Probably the guilty pleasure band you don't want to admit tapping your toes to.

I was joking around some. They're not actually a favorite, but they do make me laugh, which is good. :)
