what's up with my submission?

I submitted the final chapter, #5 of wesley's woman almost a week ago, but it hasn't been approved. What could be the issue? It shows 2 reads, but it's still pending. It's never taken any of my stories this long to be approved. I'm a little concerned.

Out of curiosity...since it's the resolution chapter there really isn't much explicit sex...could that possibly be it?

You've heard of Ghost Writers? It appears that you are experiencing Ghost Readers. :eek:

I think Laurel is taking this Halloween thing, too far! :rolleyes:

The 2 readers are probably the inspectors. Your story should be coming up any day now. I hope. I'm eagerly awaiting the final chapter on Wesley!!!

From other threads lately, I get the impression that Laurel just hasn't got the time to read and approve as many stories as she normally does.

There might also be some truth in QM's quip about the Halloween contest too seriously -- I'd expect that she'd give some priority to posting time critical stories over the normal stories that aren't against a contest deadline.
