Whats the term for pressing the enter button and it goes to the next line?
 
"Break the line", I think.

Probably depends on the context in which you need to communicate it.

You might end up saying something like:

This system doesn't wrap lines, so you have to break the line yourself by pressing return at 70 characters or so, or it'll fall off the right side of the screen and be difficult to read.​

or by contrast

This system wraps lines between words, so don't press enter within a paragraph or you'll end up with line breaks at funny places that will distract the reader.​
 
I was asking because a story a person wrote had like 4 words and then went to a new line even though the sentence was still going. So I was going to ask them to fix it, but I didn't know what to call it.
