I was talking to a customer at work today and heard him say to someone in the background

"Just put some Vaseline on him"

The oddest thing I've ever heard was actually on an answering machine! It said, "My wife and I aren't able to come to the phone at this time, but we'll call you back when we're done! *moan*"

oh i constantly hear strange snippets of conversation...


one classic one though was at my wedding. during part of the service I heard my Nanna "wispering" (she is never quiet my nanna!) "Is it Tingly?"


*giggles* I had to try really hard to keep a straight face!!
