What's the deal with Nicole Kidman's nose?

It looks bigger than it used to, and Jack Nicholson made a comment about her having her "old nose" back. Does anyone know what happened?

Probably seeing how Michael Jackson looks now after all his high priced work and decided to not go that route. Just a guess.

She is still pretty sexy though.

He was referring to the prosthetic nose she used for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in "The Hours".

She is totally unrecognizable with it.

Thank you for clearing that up.

I agree that she is sexy as hell. She was fucking beautiful in Moulin Rouge.

So they wanted her name but not her face?

That has a Milli Vanilli ring about it I think.

Lance

No, just the acting skills Lance.
She won the globe just now for her performance.

Perhaps it was her talent they wanted?

Hey, Milli Vanilli had talent, it just didn't happen to be for singing. I don't know what the big deal was, people have been lip-synching since the days of American Bandstand.

Globes, Oscars, American Music Awards, Grammys, they're all starting to carry about as much weight as a softball trophy for the local bar league.

They were Fab looking, too. Maybe cause they were both into Pilatus? ;)

But, at least Nicole can sing, dance and act. My goodness, you people type fast!

Hey 99

I've never found her partcularly believable as an actor...for me she has a Kevin Costner quality of sameness in her work.

That being said, I've not see Moulin Rouge or the Woolf remake...and I'm more a film guy than a movie guy.

Unless it has car chases and lots of bikinis, of course.

Lance

I'll be honest, I never liked her before...but between Moulin Rouge, The Others, and Birthday Girl, she seems to have become a real actress!

This bugs me so much.

Can an actor no longer wear a prostetic and not have it be known all over?

It should be NORMAL that they wear prostetics, that they change their appearance that they look different than they do.

I'm sorry for letting the cat out of the bag. ;)

Lance,
I think she has grown into herself. She seems much more at ease now. I see many differences in her performances from her early films. To Die For to Birthday Girl to Moulin Rouge.

You'll get plenty of chances to see more- she has 2 movies coming out this year and 3 more next year.

And leave Kevin out of this. His acting may stink up the joint but he's still kinda cute for an aging, balding man.
