what cd do you own that you think is the greatest and you think everyone should own?

right now it's purple rain

My best CD has about 180 mp3s on it... There's just no way I could narrow it down to one commercially available compact disk with a mere 12-16 songs on it...
What a conundrum. Maybe...
Naw. There's just no way I could decide.

Ohhhh, I can't decide on just one....

I love Days of Future Past by the Moody Blues.

Can't forget this one:

Americana by The Offspring.

Ok - I will admit - EVERYTHING by the Offspring

Pink Floyd........ Dark Side of the Moon

And everything else they have done

Lately mine has been Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park.

Just been in a Linkin Park mood the past 3 days.

OOOHHH I love Rob Zombie...he is so freaky cool

Gotta love ZZTop's Greatest Hits too....so many sexy songs

Pearl Necklace
Tube Snake Boogy
Velcro Fly

Yes I love it. Id love to see them in concert

I went to see them in concert & they were playing in a small venue. My friend & I took off that day & bought tickets. We bought our tickets & we thought we would have okay seats, but when we got there & we gave our tickets to the usher we were some where in the middle down in the front rows !

The lights went down & out comes this lone figure on to the stage, suddenly the lights go on & there was Rob Thomas ! The show was simply amazing ! They played for over 3 hrs & we had the best time that night.

I highly recommend you attend one of thier concerts. :)

I was going to mention Cibo Matto but now that I see someone on the board who actually knows who Mr. Len is, I'm going to add two more from the same camp:

Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein

El-P - Fantastic Damage

All hail Def Jux records!

what i think is the best cd is not for everybody.

Staind-Break the Cycle

basically, it sums up the feelings of a frighteningly large portion of a generation or two (early teens on up to about thirty, actually).

Good call, Pez.

Oh geez, if I had to limit it to just one . . . uh, So by Peter Gabriel. Or maybe U2's The Joshua Tree. Or Remain In Light by the Talking Heads. Or, if you're in an angry mood, Metallica's self-titled CD, a.k.a. "The Black Album."

Damn, I didn't do a very good job of limiting it to just one, did I?
