Could be about a lot of things.

How long is too long? A day? A week? A month?

Do you have other stories up? What category? Many things can affect time. Generally about a week is 'normal', but sometimes it can be two weeks. For some reason illustrated stories can take much longer.

As you can see 'what's taking so long?' isn't really a simple question with a simple answer and one line posts don't provide enough information to really work with.

I submitted a story 'Girls, Please Make Daddy Cum' on 1/3/24. It has not published yet which is unusual. My experience has been no more than two days from submit date.

Any suggestions on how to get it published?

Imagine...people taking the holiday season to spend time with their loved ones and take time off when there are stories to be published. Thoughtless....simply thoughtless. How could these people think of family when you have a story waiting. My goodness to the stocks with them!

I submitted a story on Dec 17, and got a rejection on Dec 29. As others have said, they're likely taking time for the holidays. I fixed their issue the same day but I'm not expecting it to get published for another week or so. There will be a backlog to overcome. Chill out, write some more, and queue them up for publishing.

I submitted two on 12/26/23, one published on 12/27/23, the other on 12/28/23.

That was my frame of reference for the 1/3/24 submittal concern.

Looks at the time frame Yeah that sounds a lot like still the holiday season to me. Basically all of December is a whirl wind for most people (and not just Christian types)...and then they come out into January like someone coming out of a coma..in a daze and trying to get back into a routine...so..maybe try and have some patience.

Most of my stories were published in 2 to 7 days, but a few took 4 or 5 WEEKS. There is only one person approving everything and sometimes they are sick, on vacation / holiday, or just overloaded. Have a little patience.
