i suppose if a pyl does something very wrong or breaks a major rule there is a chance the PYL will decide to release him/her. by being punished, the pyl knows that their behavior is being corrected, and that they arnt being released, becuase what PYL would spend the time/energy/effort to punish a pyl if they mean to get rid of them
