I usually have an adult contemporary station (100.3 "The Q" on that plays everything from Aerosmith to ZZ Top and everything old/new in between....but thank god they don't play the teenybopper shit!

Once in awhile I will switch it to "The Buzz" out of Seattle that has the men's talk shows...Tom Leykis, BJ Shea and Don and Mike...

Nothing, I hope! It's supposed to be locked in the parking lot while I'm here at work.... :D

NPR

or classical--I can't keep track of new music, and the "oldies" stations just play top-40 (just 20 year old top-40).

Usually the classic rock station.
Sometimes the R&B, pop mix.
In the summer it's usually the Oldies from the sixties and seventies.

When I'm in a badass mood I'll play the altenative rock station. :D

Luciano

Pavorrati. Contemporary christian, reggae, oldies and foreign music like Tagalog, Japanese or spanish

My own CD mix.

Few tracks of oldies (70's and 80's)
Few tracks of Jimmy Buffet
Few tracks of country

I don't discriminate:)

Well, hon, when I was talking to you a few minutes ago the song playing was........

"All That She Wants, Is Another Baby!"

I hope not!;) ;)

I never listen to the radio.

On heavy rotation at the moment in the bluemusemobile:

Old 97s
The Jayhawks
X
The Black Crows

That's this week's line up.

bluemuse

On CD: Kurt Weill - "The Threepenny Opera", in German.
On FM: Classical radio.

Well, it's not playing right now.........as I am not in my car. But, what is in the CD player is Pink Floyd disk 1 from Echoes

On CD: Jonny Lang... WAY up high.

On the radio: local alternative rock station... WAY up high.

I seem to be incapable of listening to music in my car without it being *really* loud. Interestingly, the TV being on even just a little loud makes me very cranky. What is it about music that begs volume?

Either talk radio (Rush is right!), or KZLA (country) when I'm in the car alone. If CL is with me we usually have a classical CD playing, or turn it off so we can talk.

I'm a self-described channer flipper! I can't stand to listen to commercials or songs I dislike. I do stop flipping when I hear anything from Matchbox Twenty, Jimmy Buffett, Melissa Etheridge, Garth Brooks, Sarah Mcglothlin, Eagles, etc...

radio usually Y102 BR.

Or Some hardcore rock on the tape or CD.

More than likely some fucked-up eclectic mixed tape that I made, that has classical, opera and the Beatles all smashed together.

Nothing right now, local kitties like to play on my car, but they never get inside. ;)

I rarely play any music in my car simply because all I have is a very cheap AM/FM cassette player that came with the car and most of my music is on CD. On long trips I take along a CD player and ANR headphones. What I choose to take along varies widely though.

Hey why not...

Let's see I have a few cds I rotate in and out. and since I am blessed to own a very nice cd burner I make my own soundtracks these days. Yep...no sucky songs on my cds!

Here's my current favorites :

Dracula Battle Perfect Selection
Guilty Gear X
Nocturne in the Moonlight

Yep... have a burner too so I can mix a lot of style and songs together... a lot of indie rock and prog too (primary a prog lover). Lately been listening to Staisailor, Elbow, Travis, Coldplay...

DéjàNu

I have a Fatboy Slim CD stuck in my car player.
So everytime i turn it on?

Fatboy slim is fucking in heaven.
Fatboy slim is fucking in heaven.
Fatboy slim is fucking in heaven.

A compilation disc of mine, I think Puddle of Mudd's Control is the song playing . . .
