Whenever I visit another state or country I try to drink a locally made beer. I have had some pretty bad ones but a few I really liked. They are Lone Star in Texas(duh) and Paske Byrg in (Denmark). I have heard good things about Pigs Eye from Minnesota but have not yet tried it.

What local beers would you suggest to try and what local beers have you tried in other areas of the country/world?

Well here in the sticks of Georgia we have lots of local brews, they are called moon shine or shine to the locals but I wouldn't try them unless your momma started you on them early(like in your baby bottle) or unless you have a cast iron skillet for a stomach.

As for any others I do not drink so I do not know.

So what do you think about the Paaske Bryg from Denmark? Did you like them? They can be very powerfull! lol

I do try to get a local beer whenever I got somewhere in the world, and have also tried a few imported from Australia. One I particular like from down under is "Red Back" now that was a good beer in my opinion!

I think the Paske Byrg was one of the best beers I have ever tasted. I actually brought some back with me but they did not hold up well in the long flight. You are right as far as them being powerful. I was told they have the third highest alcohol content of all beers in the world. Doesn't take much to get one going. ;)
