I think the most I've ever had is 60 or so and that's just because I always forget to not keep messages I send out in my "sent" folder. really gives you an idea of how unpopular you are... or how just flat out ignored you are. I'm not sure which is worse..... maybe I should start acting more like some of those jerks on the GB.mrtnmoon said:

When the max used to be 100 and I saved every PM...yeah, it would get full. But now I regularly clean out my PM box and try to keep it under 50 at all times.

Those people with full boxes let them get that way on purpose I think. It takes some special effort to not delete a few messages every couple weeks.
If you want to fill it up though - only have conversations with people through PM - they'll be annoyed, but your box will fill up quickly. And send lots as well - sent messages count towards your total - so you can have a "full box" and yet have only received one or two PMs.

I don't think that in all the time that I have been at Lit that I have ever had a full pm box. I tend not to be one that saves pm's, and I regularly make sure that the sent box is cleaned out as well.

I get about 35-40pms a day. I tease outrageously on the board though.

it doesn't really matter.... I just started this thread one night when I was feeling especially lonely and forgotten. I get occasional PM's, it just seems like the people I want to hear from the most.... the people who've commented about how much they like me and like reading my posts and yada, yada, yada, blah, blah, blah.... well, they're the ones I hear from the least.

oh, believe me, I express myself. unfortunately a lot of what I've been feeling lately is loneliness and sadness and that shows in my posts.
