When the home page comes up, some overlay is on top of it advertising some hidden camera thing. I won't go into the picture of men and sheep. (If you haven't seen it, don't ask.)

I can't even close this overlay, it simply blocks a number of the main options.

Is anyone else seeing this, and if so, what's going on?

Yes. I've got it too.

It won't close or delete.

I'm ignoring it and hoping it will go away.

It has two sheep asses on display.

Ewe heard it hear first.

I figured it was probably an April Fool's joke as well, since it's a picture superimposed over the page and not an actual popup.

It's a joke. The image is hosted at Lit and its filename is April2004. :)
Damn geek, ruinin' the fun. ;)

To be honest, I thought it was a bit lame. It's like when the BBC do something really pathetic because they're scared to piss anyone off.

When I was a junior contract programmer in an investment bank in the '80s I put in a piece of code that kicked in on April 1st. It made all the buttons "jump out of the way" when you tried to click them, so everyone was chasing these buttons around their screens.

Try that after 9/11 and you'll be escorted out tf the building.

I reported it to the admin. If it was authorised, they retracted it, if not they killed it.

I made all dates printed in the morning read "on the Feast Day of All Fools" and everybody just smiled.
