What's for dinner?

Breathing resumes is more like it.

I know how that works. I used to do work for a former employer who regularly took 90 days or more to pay on invoices that I could only submit after completing my work for the month. That was a real ballbuster arrangement.

Gotta love that.

Dinner plan changed, 4 more orders came in. Patak's insta-Indian 300 cal dinners.

Chicken cacciatore and some boxed rice thing that didn't have any msg in it. :D

The snapper was still frozen as hard as a stone. Black bean burger with very nasty trimmings and french fries (now that Bush is almost out of office will the lowly french fry regain its honored name?) from Chili's. Meh.

Ummm...for my sake anyway, I hope the french fry does rise to its formally exalted position. Not that I actually eat them, of course....the fries, that is....

Feeling a bit frisky tonight...he he...

This partially french but not so young fry usually rises to an exalted position when it's called for. ;)

Piece of toast.... piece of string cheese.... a few bites of some left over chicken.... boiling an artichoke now. :p

*sigh*

I'm actually a very good cook. :(
Being a batchelorette means having odd dinners now and again.

I don't know. If Bunny and Yeti don't hurry up and say let's go eat, I'm going to start on my arm.

I am partial to the totally french....age is irrelevant.... (unless you're under a certain age....)

However, I have other requirements.... (those include strawberries, a swoop of the hat, the willingness to do certain things and ummm....well....I'll leave the rest to imagination.... :D )

I had Chinese food. Sesame chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll. Yum.:)

Yesterday was pasta with mushroom spaghetti sauce & cheese.

I love trying weird shaped pastas i've never had before, & i've been hooked on the long spiral shaped strands of Fusilli for awhile now, but yesterday i found this stuff that looked just like wavy lasagna noodles but it was in skinny strands so we tried that. Fusilli seems to go good with a meat sauce or something on the heavier side since it's a heavy pasta, but you definately want to save some of the sauce if you plan to reheat it so it doesn't dry out. The other stuff was good & had a consistancy like spaghetti so a tiny bit of sauce went a long way.

Tonight will be spinnach salad with sauteed mushrooms, pine nuts, craisins, and home-made dressing.

I had five pieces of sandwhich ham and a cookie.... WOOO!

I'm thinking about those 2 steak and cheese chimichangas in the freezer, with some salsa... for starters.

Next Monday through Thursday I'm having several things from the seafood buffet at Southern Suppers in Garden City, SC.

Last night it was a banana cut into pieces and eaten with cheddar cheese, miracle whip and/or bread OR peanut butter. Oh and half a grapefruit. I was in a fruity mood.

We had marinated chicken and pineapple kebabs followed by home crumbed schnitzels (cooked in pan on stove), then baked in oven covered in meat/vegetable soup and grated cheese, served with lightly boiled broccoli florets. When the family came to celebrate his birthday later we finished off with a custard flan topped with strawberries and cream. Exercise required tomorrow!!
