I only don't really like pretend meats..
This is a pet peeve of mine, too. I get it that you have soy, tofu, seitan, quorn and the likes sometimes, but I don't understand the weird fascination people have to make vegetarian or vegan version of every meat dish.
I've been incorporating more vegan dishes to our menu and I googled to see if I could find a nutritionally balanced weekly vegan menu. One of the menus I had a look at was PETA's two week menu plan. That was so weird, so many of the dishes were even called something like "vegan chicken stir-fry". They used seitan or quorn in place of chicken. Why not just call it a vegan stir-fry or even seitan stir-fry, why do you need to put the word chicken there?
Tofurky, tofu tuna, vegan chicken wings, vegan ribs etc. I'll never understand that.
And the beer I'm currently sipping is Põhjala Valge Öö, a strong ale. Pretty good, have had better.

It's a Vietnamese dish, fish simmered in a sticky caramel sauce. The way I've learned it from a friend, you also add a bit of bacon in it, but now that I checked out none of the recipes use bacon. But I think it works there very well, so I'm gonna keep on doing in the way I learned.
It all sounds very weird, but tastes good.
