(^O^) I think it's mostly vegetables. Though, portion control also plays a part. Tonight I made baked tofu, kale with red onion and brown rice.

Surprisingly, I'm not missing eating it with chips. I did eat it on celery sticks which was interesting. Tonight I put a little on my rice. I like making my own, but it's easier at the moment to buy pre made. I found a spicy one I like.![]()
Try peeling the outside of your celery with a potato peeler if you haven't ever done it. Yeah, it removes some of the nutrients and fiber, but it's also totally less bitter. I always peel mine, even for cooking.

Having a friend, maybe two, over this evening for antipasti and music grew through the afternoon to being a gathering of indeterminate number of Italians over here coming round. By the time I realised this I felt unimaginative and had already been to the shops so I have merely padded out the antipasto with a mushroom tart and will make a vegetable frittata if needed, then plan a big home style offering of pasta aglio, olio, pepperoncino. Not imaginative and not very me, but easy. I had nothing sweet easy to throw together so I have made my easy pumpkin seed brittle to have with coffee, and melted some chocolate with figs, dates and walnuts and a little orange peel and am waiting to break it into what I hope look like elegant shards rather than lumps.

I'm assuming you mean egg noodles? If not, you should try egg noodles with any combination of butter, cream, garlic, salt and pepper. Yum!

What are the healthy foods you love?
Well, not quite an answer, but I did replace the barbeque side dishes. We usually had a pasta or potato salad or french fries or potato wedges as side dish.
Now I prepare healthier side dishes - green bean salads, tomato salads, ... I try to keep them low calory and not make them unhealthy again by adding cheese, croutons or something like that.
