I read this thread and it got me to think about other authors that you don't see stories from anymore, Patricia51, for example. I read the "Torn" story she had in letters and the follow ups some other authors wrote and in one of the author's notes it hinted that she was no longer alive but didn't clarify it as true or not.
There was another author whose stories I liked but I can't remember his name. Bio stated male, late sixties, and I wondered if he'd passed away because there were only a few stories from him in a short span of time.
Is there anyone who keeps up with why an active author suddenly stops posting new stories?

Unless they are on one of the forums regularly, there really isn't anyone keeping track. And then sometimes, that doesn't even work.

Me too! His recordings are awesome. I think he had taken a break at one time... may have again. Hope he comes back.
