Michael was slowly posting less and less but is probably still lurking in the shadows occasionally. I kind of miss him. He always beat me to posting on topics and had footnotes to back up what he said.

XX is still urking around out there and if you say something that pisses him off bad enough he'll post.

Uncle Bill I don't think ever posted real often. Look for him when things start getting deep. Or you could just post a topic on how much you like taxes.

Rodrigo I'm not sure about and Southernhelle last I heard had found a new lover and was staying busy.

I appreciate the thoughtfulness behind this thread. In general, I prefer not to post any more, for reasons that there is no point in going into. I check the BB occasionally and note continuing contributions from several whose thoughts I have always appreciated. I too miss unclebill's posts, which I always thought informed by a great deal of wisdom and good sense. Dixon will always win the prize for class, in my estimation, and many others have had worthwhile, intelligent things to say. Deborah wrote a story about the tension between religion and the flesh, that really touched me, beyond its surface appeal.

The stories are always interesting to read, and Laurel always has my appreciation for her hard work on this quality site.

I have had the pleasure of receiving correspondence from several here, and will always remember that as a happy outcome of my visits.
