Whatever happened to leasaj?

Greetings all, I'm a huge fan of leasaj's stories and have been wondering for a long time why she hasn't put up any more stories in over <i>three</i> years! Anybody know why or have a clue? My personal theories are that some erotic book publishing company gave her a book deal so she had to stop posting on this free site or maybe she shacked up with an admirer(sp) and doesn't have the desire to post any more. It could be that she simply left the site for whatever personal or professional reasons. Published authors can still post on Lit, as long as it is not their published work.

For most people, writing erotica is a hobby, or a diversion. Some get tired of doing it after a while.

I've also noticed that she's never posted on any of the forums here, so it is unlikely that anyone knows her.

I agree with Slyc's assessment. You can try sending a message, but if he/she doesn't respond, you'll have to assume they've just moved on.

I found an author recently that just killed me-- beautiful hot writing and heart-in-the-throat endings. There was nothing new from her since three years... I followed her to her blog and found that she's been homeless for a while.

Life gets in the way of writers quite often.
