Whatcha eating/cooking?

I've been making a curry version of shakshuka the past couple of days for breakfast. I had leftover sauce from the last chicken curry batch.

Made some the other day, over spinach:

I made some rice for a rice pudding I did not get around to making.

Just drizzled some olive oil over it, sprinkled on some Greek Seasoning and pine nuts. Good combination.

  • Sausage patty
  • Sunny side up egg
  • Cheese
  • Onion
  • Spicy mustard
  • On an everything bagel

Grilled pastrami and pepper cheese sandwich on jalapeno bread and a cup of bean and bacon soup.

Looks good. might have to try that sometime.

It definitely comes across with a bright tomato flavor which is unexpected in the first bite. It's not spaghetti sauce. Not even close.

I added some petite diced tomatoes to the recipe so that may account for some of the tomato-y hit.

Snack plate - also known as crackers, cheese, left over meats and cherry tomatoes.

It works.

I improvised with what I found in my brother's kitchen. Today I had hash browns with barbecue sauce. Tomorrow I may have rice with barbecue sauce.

I was going to start a thread for cooking pictures, but thought I’d resurrect this one instead.

Cooks, please post pictures of your delicious creations! There has to be at least a few horny chefs out there!

I’ll start with some European peasant bread I made recently. I use the “Artisan Bread in five minutes a day” method and bake in stockpots to trap steam, uncovering halfway through.
