Btw - we did not expand NATO into Ukraine, nor were we planning to. That was quashed in 2014.What do you think is the real reason America's politicians seem so eager to get WW3 started?
We are being needlessly provocative with the Russians.
And we have a big chunk of the Navy sitting like targets in the Middle East.
Obviously since we are America, the public is going to need someone else to "throw the first punch." Our fantasies about always being the good guys demand that much. But we're definitely making ourselves available... needlessly... in both areas.
The truth about Ukraine is that it's a war about expanding NATO. Putin told NATO up front that he would go to war if that was tried. We did it anyway. And there's a war. I sometimes think the pack of emasculated liars in charge of our country just doesn't know how to react when someone actually means what he says.
And the truth about Gaza is that it was probably allowed to happen as a pretext for murdering the Palis that were easy targets and driving the rest into Egypt. It's either that... or Israel's vaunted intel apparatus is completely incompetent and ineffective. There are no other options.
And in Washington, halfwit generals threaten to send family members of politicians who vote against funding Ukraine to fight the Russians.
And halfwit politicians are doing their best to turn Gaza into an excuse to attack Iran.
But is this really about adding one more unnecessary country to NATO?
Is it really about a bunch of people in Gaza that nobody has cared about for decades?
For Russia and Israel - yes.
It's important to Russia not to let another domino fall.
It's important to Israel to impose its preferred solution to the Pali problem.
But what exactly is driving the sociopaths in DC?
Can it really just be the profit on selling weapons?
Is it some big picture design on controlling who gets to supply oil to whom?
Is it about weakening the Euro in an effort to maintain the dollar as the "reserve currency"?
Or is it an attempt to disrupt BRICS before it eclipses the G7?
The only thing I can say with absolute certainty is that the reasons we're being given are few, far between, and entirely BS.
