What you wear, is what you write!

No, I find that what I see inspires Me. For instance, that pic you posted brings a few stories to mind.

Serious answer? no not really, if anything the opposite. If im wearing something provocative or I see my partner teasing me, the last thing I want to do is sit at my computer and write lol. As strange as it sounds, some of my best stories have come from dreams I've had that I've kinda, interpreted.

I'm going to have to agree. If the lady is all dressed up, then I'm just not going to get any work done. And if I'm wearing something that interests here, then she is going to do her best to make sure I don't, either. Not that it ussually takes her more then winking in my direction. God, I love being married to this woman.

Anyways...but I do draw inspiration from all around. Interesting how my "finished" to "in progress" ration is ussually about 1 : 4 or 1 : 5. Maybe its all those pictures out there doing that...

My only caveat is that I don't wear any bloomers; but that's normal for me. Sometimes I like a quick frig in the midst on occasion it gives me some extra incentive to finish...

no sexiness here

Oddly, I do my best to not start off extra excited when writing, because if I am in a state, then my mind doesn't work anymore. The subtle teasing I was going for becomes a ravage, which is no good. At the same time, if I don't find myself becoming excited again while the story is being created, then I know it's not going well. Actually, the right music is most important for me. If the music is wrong, I can't get a decent word down.

Concentrating too much

I find that when I'm writing I get very caught up in the mechanics (for example, if his right hand is there, and his fingers are doing that, where would his left hand be?). I'm concentrating too much on trying to get a good descriptive flow going rather than picturing the action. Proof-reading afterwards is another matter!

I think a general rule of thumb is to not write anything when you are extremely aroused, or it will not be very coherent or interesting to anyone but yourself. However, if you were not excited or interested in what you were writing AT ALL, I suppose that would be a bad sign as well; it's important to maintain a healthy balance.

I usually write in my white terry cloth bathrobe. It's my favorite article of around-the-house attire.
