What would you give up for 40 days and 40 nights?

Lent is almost here and almost every practicing Catholic will be giving up something for the entire period of Lent. There is a new movie out called 40 days and 40 nights where the main character gives up sex for that entire time.

What could you possibly give up for that long that wouldn't drive you insane? Or the other possibility is to actually do something for the good of others on a daily basis for that long.

I really don't think sex would be that hard to give up. Especially not for only 40 days. I think it's one of the easier things. Heck, I'm going on 10 months now with no sex...so that's what...300 days or so? 40's a cinch!

40 days & 40 nights :

I would give up sweets and my favorite food in the entire world... my cereal. I just love my cereal .. I can eat it 24/7 and not once think about " real" food.


As for sex ... uh ... eh ... um ... ahem ...

I simply think its to yummy to give up ....
