What woke you up today, and when?

My brain
3am
I suspect my brain hates me and is starting a revolt.
That or I've watched too many murder shows...

Aha, that happens to me as well(sometimes, I have been woken up at 4-5 am, and find myself stuck between reality and imagination, if I dreamt of a place which looks the same as the one I was dreaming about. I wake up and get confused about reality.).

But today, it was a dream I had, of a certain kind of happy things occurring, which obviously I have been wanting to take place since a year now. :)

The dreaded alarm. 5:50..I snoozed it until I dragged myself out of bed.

I laid down and began having hideous rolling muscle cramps all over my body. Cause unknown. Massage wasn't helping and neither was magnesium spray. So I got out the heating pad. Put it on my legs and was finally able to sleep. Woke to a neck cramp so moved the heating pad up there. That's when I noticed the faint, unsavory smell and now I know why my one cat seemed overly fond of it. At some point she had peed on it! Seemed like just a small amount and it had dried but the heat brought out the odor.

An itchy scrotum woke me up. I wish I was joking.

It’s subsided, thank god.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww

This is where my nose is useful.. I've got an acute olfactory sense... There is a roll of media at work that was manufactured wrong. The chemist mixed it incorrectly and the result is that it smells strongly like cat urine. The roll has been there so long that it's aired out, to most. But, I even walk near it and I can smell it. Boss comes up, tells me to use that roll for a job... I tell them it's bad, it is from the smelly batch. They don't agree, run it. As soon as it gets under the heaters from the printer, entire shop smells like cat pee..... Well, that's a reprint, can't send that to the customer!!! No duh.

Normally I have a very keen sense of smell but I think our foul air and the pain I was in, helped me not to notice.

Funny thing is, I went into the kitchen after that for a cold drink and my gardener came running in, carrying bedding. He looked a little sheepish and said that he spilled water on the bed. I told him I could one up him. The two of us have been having weirdly similar problems these past few days.

Needing to pee woke me at 11am, but I had hoped to have a nice lie in until 12! ;)

First let me say that I took to bed because I was feeling unwell in a variety of ways, including an upset stomach. Somewhere in the vicinity of 2:45 a.m., my black cat pounced on my stomach and jumped off. Was  not:mad: happy!

Good ol’ alarm at 6.

Got a super-busy day today. So I’m gearing up to get everyone else up.

My alarm scared the shit out of me! Then I reset it for half an hour later wondering why on God’s green earth the night owl decided she had to get up at 830 on a day she isn’t even working....

But this notion of panic sleep is so me! I generally do wake up a couple minutes before it goes off to toss and turn about while imagining I have several hours left to lay peacefully in my bed only to be massively disappointed when the alarm blares in my ear and forcefully disenchants that notion.
