I was awake when my alarm (Ace of Swords from Turn of a Friendly Card) went off at 5:45 and I silenced it trying to decide if I would get up. My second alarm ( Catina music from the original Star Wars) convinced me at about 6:00.

Woke up early today because the weather weenies claimed it’d start snowing at 4.

Nope. At 4:50, my ears told me the passing traffic was clearly still moving on bare pavement.

So I passed back out until 5:10.

Slept in today. 7:30; it felt great, but then this is the first day of vacation. So.

Beats yesterday's 4:50, after not getting to sleep until nearly 1 am that night. Ah, well.

Tried to ignore the morning wood when my "best friend" (the hound) let me know he needed to pee.

First time: Daddy continuing a conversation in my messages and the vibration woke me up. He promptly turned my sleepy butt around and put me back to bed. I did not argue.

Second time at a reasonable 7:30 am the midget singing as she was coloring. She is at the age she makes up random songs and sings them at the top of her lungs. Life is a musical right now.
