What to do if your Erotic COupling suddenly becomes a Chain Story?

My partner has just submitted a complimentary piece to one I had accepted last week (I told a story of a girl having anonymous sex with a stranger at a concert, and he liked it and wrote the story from the guy's point of veiw)...

Are we allowed to link them to one another or something, or would it be a good idea to ask that they be moved to Chain Stories, or... what?

The site prefers it if Chain Stories are opened up to interested authors, however it has made exceptions. If you have more chapters planned than just a few, you should submit a "story" with the erstwhile chain's title and the word "EDIT" in it and an explanation to the editor in the text box where you'd normally post the story. You can also PM her (her name is Laurel), but the most effective means of getting anything story-wise taken care of is by submitting a "story" at the moment.

Several authors have done this sort of thing and just mentioned it in the author's notes. Here's an example of one:
