What to do? Mind your own business. What purpose would it serve to "ruin her thing"? If she's doing what she wants to do, leave her alone. Before you yell at me for being harsh, put the shoe on the other foot. How would you feel if someone in your family expressed a displeasure for YOUR occupation? If you're doing what you want and are happy doing it, what business is it of anyone else's?

Assuming you had a decent relationship with her to begin with, there's no reason for your knowing this bit of information to affect that, unless there's been a marked change in her demeanor, then you'd have every right to not socialize with her, but no right to "expose" what she does, particularly if she has a day job that would be jeopardized.

Sounds to me like you are struggling with your own double standards here... You start by judging her. Dude--As tempting as it may be to interfere or intrude into your cousin's career and use her/ out her amongst the family, remember this: What goes around, comes around. I'm not a big believer in Karma, etc., but this big old world does have a way of evening things out...sometimes it's just best to take the high road.

If your issues w/ her family include her, just forget this little nugget of information. If they don't include her, you MIGHT contact her to make sure she's not being forced or exploited, and to let her know you're there for her. If you can't (honestly) handle it that way, once again, forget you know about it at all.
