Never been to Ark., had some of you Guardsmen here on training one time though.

My guys were terribly disappointed not to find a Bubba' or Billy Bob among them. Though they did pack BBQ's in to the field with them.

Miniature portable BBQ's? *shakes head* Yeah, well, that's the Arkies for you. Next to Razorback games, BBQ is their favorite thing. I was really surprised to find out that a lot of the people in this area are from some other state. And not all Arkies have the accent. But still, I just don't want to be here. Too damn hot, for one thing.

It's September, and it's still mid to upper 80's. Granted, it's a lot cooler than it has been, but it's just not right. At least nobody is shooting at me. Gotta find something to be thankful for!

Most of them had the small portable gas fired Hibachi sized units. There company HQ had this freakin' huge Weber that was their CO's pride and joy. They threw this huge EndEx "Q" that my guys really appreciated. They brought the ribs we brought the beverages.

It was all pretty funny really and they were good guys.
