What the hell are BBW warnings?

Could any BBWs or their partners please check out a few threads on here where Big Beautiful Women are absolutely adored before posting threads titled "Sorry but,...." and "BBW warning!"

In society at large, (the UK as well as the UK) big women may be shunned and seen as unsexy but on here I expect people to have respect for all shapes and sizes, especially big women themselves.

Big girls, we love you! Not just your large boobs and lovely big arses but your soft thighs and bellys as well!

Stop apologising and let us see those lovely proud big bodies. I frequent a chatroom/live camera site in the UK and which rooms are always the fullest and hardest to get into?

Yes you guessed it!

OK, rant over. As you were.

I only put a little sentence in my first post because I've had assholes ruin my thread years ago and I'm still a bit paranoid about it. Most people are cool about it...they'll look at the first pic and decide whether or not they want to keep looking. Usually the assholes probably won't ever look at the pics, they'll just post bullshit and bring you down. But I'm still paranoid. :(

Sensuality cums from within. Anymore BBW is over-used. I like all women but a woman with flesh in all the right places is extra sensual! ;)

Yeah, you'd think I'd get over it after almost 3 years. I have only had great people at my thread since, but you never know. I think that's also why I put my pics in my AV, so people can see that I'm not a size 4, or even a size 14. And thank you.

I like how I put it in my thread..."curvaceous BBW"...so far..all the posts have been complementary...

I just ignore the assholes online like I do IRL..they are not worth the energy to respond back to...

Small minded people like that are just to ignorant to ever get it...

I put "Curvy Cutie Teasing" as the title of my second AP thread.

Generally, I don't care much for the BBW label, or any other labels for that matter. It's kind of humiliating to be put into some stereotypical box signaling that "I am different than the rest around, beware!". But since there are people who don't enjoy pics with all shapes, and shades or sizes, I keep thinking that placing some kind of a hint might be useful.

I asked in the thread later on if I should have included a BBW warning. I got a very sweet reply among many others that stated I should have included a BBC warning, as for Big Beautiful Cutie :). I must admit I kinda liked the way he put it.

What I completely can not understand though are people who venture into such a thread, either accidentally or on purpuse, and then leave negative comments. That's just plain mean and I will hopefully never grasp their motivation.

Anyways, I came to Lit with very little self esteem as far as my looks went, and even if I had my ups and down on the site, I have grown much more confident and comfortable with the woman I have become, sharp witts and tongue, professional success, big heart and matching hips included. ;)

We are all individuals and as long as we can respect each other as such, no matter what the label, it's all good. :)

ChL, aka the hopeful idealist. ;)

I like BBC! ;) I also detest labels. What attracts me to a woman is her "total package": appearance, personality, charm, sensuality (which cums from within), wit, sense of humor, etc. There is to prototypical woman as far as I am concerned and I enjoy their similarities as well as their differences. Perhaps it is the Libertarian in me that wants to enjoy the pics of all women on Lit and let individuals decide which are appealing but without the negativity. End rant.

well, I missed out on that all together...I put no warning what so ever in my thread. Course I had a dear fan/friend suggest that.

So far all but one post has been kind if not erotic and hot.

I just am who I am, I like me and if there is nothing nice to be said, just keep looking.

I didn't put any sort of warning either, tho there have been a few times when I thought maybe I should have and that's usally after a post from some asshat or worse a pm from one. No matter how may compliments I may get, just one bad remark can ruin me for a month. But I really haven't had all that many either. maybe 5 or 6 total posts and pms, and I've been here just over a year.

It's a matter of personal preference. I could stand to lose 10-20 lbs. (if you believe the military's specs!) but I'm healthy, my doc doesn't care and I'm not in the reserves anymore. If a babe is looking for a boy tow with six pack abs she can move on. I can usually find something attractive in almost any woman but that attraction is based upon the total woman, not jsut her physical appearance.

I didn't put any sort of warning either,

While on this subject, on a UK board I frequent, I have noticed at least three times now, women who put in their ads "Please take note, I am actually bigger than I look in my photos".

I know that a lot of big women have 'issues' (terrible american word) with self image but you have absolutely NOTHING to apologise for. Remember, it is only this fucked up western society of ours, that has a problem with women's size. Most cultures cherish big women.

I totally agree with the sentiments of this thread; the female form is beautiful in every shape and size. It amazes me that some people still name call and insult girls who they find unattractive because of their size, one wonders if they'd insult a girl they didn't like on account of the colour of their skin as well.
It's a blistering indictment of Western society that the skinniest girls are as self concious as the bigger girls.
Well, that's my pennys worth, and I think all the women on here are gorgeous!

There's no warning on my thread, although I'm not exactly the thinnest of women. Thankfully nobody has yet been anything but remarkably complementary!

I agree. It's a stupid thing that the vocal minority has the right to make women feel insecure about the size of their bodies, breasts, whatever. I sure do like a woman with alot of curves, too.

...

Honestly...I don't see it as a warning...I actually veer toward those threads, I prefer women with more curves...in the end i'm a hip and ass man.

I don't really know why I put in my thread pics of me a BBW  It just kind of came out but I have BBW in my name. Really I did it mostly so those that appreciate a larger body would take in my thread. :) And if they didnt like it they could avoid it. So far no negative either in PMs or on my thread but hey if they do no big deal they dont know what they are missing. LOL

I have always looked the eyes of other people ( men or women ) to see there soul and not their shape. My mother always told me " pretty is as pretty does". I am an older woman and have been bashed at times just because of that. I simply ask them........if they could go to bed with Pamela Anderson or Sophia Loren......which would they choose? My husband is a BBM and to me he is the most handsome man in the world. He is good, kind, loving and extremely sexy. When I have been bashed I never run to administration or talk about it on a board. I simply , verbally, spank them. LOL I love that song " Everyone is Beautiful, in their own way".

Grrrrrrrrr!
I hate the term BBW or any of it's derivatives...everyone should be seen as an individual regardless of their clothing size, their breast size...or anything else... :)
I'm hardly the smallest of women out there but I'd hate to have to label myself...I've never had any negative comments on my pics (so far ;) ) and I think it's sad that there are those immature few who insist on sticking to some bizarre kind of social stereotype and forcing their opinions on everyone else...
There...rant over, now I can go back to my cup of tea... :D
