I want a hug and a nice pat on the ass, maybe with a little squeeze too. :)

Especially since I have to go to work in a little bit.

*hug* have a nice day at work

<hugs> I'll miss chatting with you tonight while you're at work. At least we got to chat for a short bit while I was at work. :)

Oh, well goodluck. Does this mean you're quitting? If so, good luck, talk about a pain. I don't smoke, but my husband does, and he's always trying to quit. It's like Mark Twain said, quitting is easy, he's done it a 100 times. :D

quitting smoking suggestion

American Lung Association used to make a great quit smoking packet. Lots of info, in convenient to use form. I did Everything on their list, even the silly stuff. for some things the silly stuff worked best. (Like deepbreathing. I'd even go off in a room by myself and do it pretending to smoke, to really take those deep breaths. Hell, hyperventilate. But you have to Do it. Thinking about deep breathing is Not the same as Doing it. Especially for a smoker.)

That was 14 years ago. I'd quit before but this time, it seems to have taken. I don't even dream about smoking anymore. (That stopped at about year 10.) It can be done, you just really need to use substitutes and planning ahead for those typical smoking situations and such.) My mother hasn't smoked in almost 30 years, either, and she'd been a 4 pack a day smoker for about 20 years. (Yeah, 4 packs. She'd have more than one going at a time, in different ashtrays in different rooms because she'd forget where she left it, and she Always chain smoked. I thought that was how everybody did it.)

Anyway, good luck, and don't worry if it takes a few tries. Don't let that make you give up. My mom tried several times before the time that took, and so did I. Think of it as practice runs, before the 'marathon-quit.'
