what you think some good ways to get them for yours stories. Even the top rated stories seem to be low on writers

As a rule of thumb, it can be hard to find writers. I'd say the reader/writer ratio is probably somewhere around 1:50...

Only tips I can give:

Be original.

Do not use "fake choices" at the end of your thread. It looks just lame.

What I mean is, as an example: "Suzy pulled down his pants and started sucking.

Continuing question: what is she sucking on?"

Come on, that's just ridiculous... anyway...

Bring at least one element outside sex to the story. It is easier (at least for me) to write for someone else if I can link my thread to the "general plot", and not limit myself to the "sub-plot" of a sexual relation between two characters.

Btw, it is a very big problem with most stories IMHO... At one point, it stales. It's as if a James Bond movie ended when the first "Bond Girl" enters the action. :p

Anyway...

Personnally, I no longer write to receive contributions from other writers. When I do, I'm happy. When I don't, I just shrug.

Getting Writers to contribute.

I agree! Write for yourself! Contribute to others when it strikes you. Some will contribute because you've written for them... some will write because they want to contribute.

Just have fun for what it's worth... FREE!

Got beef?

My thoughts...
well in order to get other writers to add to your story you almost have to go over there and force them to write! Chyoo has been pretty inactive lately. If you want to gain contributions you need to offer the writer something. By this I mean you need to inspire them! If you pour your heart and soul into something then they will notice and it will be good. Well written threads that don't just focus on sex but more on story plot excite me!

My story a Lost Identity is more story oriented rather than sex. the story has 29 pages and I think 6 of them are actual sex threads!

My best advice is to work on your characters. I hate 2 dimensional characters. Make them more 3D, flush them out. Give them a personality and proper descriptions. Also, a story where the reader is always known as YOU isn't always best. If it's interactive then that is ok. But having the main character a different person than the reader is a good change of things.

Make a story have options! Make it large. An introduction thread that is less than 300 words is too short. To establish a story you need a beefy, attractive introduction thread. One that is free of spelling and grammar errors. It's hard to edit your own stuff, but Word works pretty well. If you have a friend, let them read it and see what you've missed. The computer won't pick up on things like the wrong use of "your and you're" or "too and to". Little things can make or break a story.

I'm with Sparky

I think the key is just to write and not worry about what comes back. I am personally enjoying adding to other stories more than writing on my own. I have added 160 threads total of which 30 or so are on my stories.

Just write and don't sweat it. People will come when it strikes them.

Thanks.

she might be sucking on a lollipop!

lol.

I dunno, do people try to recruit people as writers before starting a story? might be easier to pool interests that way
