Hey everyone. I am a pretty new author, and I have been very excited to get some good feedback from my first submission. I have some story ideas in mind, but I would also like to know what people would like to hear about.

Any suggestions? Themes? I'd love to get your ideas and maybe write a story for you.

And thanks in advance for welcoming a new author to the fold. ;-)

(EDIT - see update below. I do not have any stories currently published on Lit. Thanks.)

Welcome aboard!

As to your request, drift on over to the story ideas thread and you can find some things people are looking for.

In general this site has so many categories and such a vast readership you really can;t go wrong with anything you write, no matter what you're sure to find an audience.

OK, thanks, I'll check it out!

Personally, I like to see devout Christians being hypocritical, (just like in real life) especially if they're in church - the pastor demanding sex from the hot chick in the choir in exchange for him not releasing the compromising photos he took of her and the (18 year-old) alter boy in the changing room with his hidden camera , the judgmental TV preacher caught in a scandal involving a prostitution ring pimping virgin nuns (under duress) to other high society rich elites just like him - that type of thing, but I'm a little odd.

Okay, "virgin nuns under duress" might be a little far fetched. How about college girls from the Campus Christians Club looking to pay off their student loans? The preacher dude is taking 50% off the top "for the church" but he's not giving it to the church, he's sticking it in his pocket because he's a greedy fuck with no morals - which is how he managed to make himself famous.

Wasn't there a scandal a while back in one of the mega churches? That might be a good point of reference.

My wife watches this show on the Oprah network called "Life Happens"

Its about some buttinsky woman who shows up and tries to fix peoples families.

one episode was about a preacher's wife who found out her husband was banging half the women in the church and even had a baby with one of them and she was still trying to work it out with them.

and this asshole was in the pulpit every week preaching.

all in the name of God:rolleyes:

Hi Holly. I agree that checking the story ideas forum is a good idea but I'd really stress writing the ideas you want to write. I think you're almost always better off writing the story that's in your head, the story you want to hear, than the story someone else wants.

And as lovecraft said, there's just such a wide range of readership that it isn't like there's only a few things people like to read about. Nearly every person will have a different answer.

Just for the record, keep these rules in mind. Lit does not accept (although things do fall through the cracks) stories with people under 18 having sex or in sexual situations, even with other people under 18. You can say, "I lost my virginity at sixteen," but you can't detail it. No bestiality, and no rape. Again, you will probably find stories that break these rules, or walk the line, but those are guidelines.

Good luck.

I beg to differ. We've got the Catholic school girl uniform that is a staple in the porn industry, and we've got a bunch of old foreign NC-17 films with the naughty nun theme. I've got several on DVD.

Hmmm, I stand corrected on the School Girl outfit the Nun thing never did anything for me. Then again I've never made it a habit to watch them.

Sorry, that was terrible:eek:

Yes it was. Very bad joke. Try not to get into the habit.

Ye gods now you got me doing it.

Said the nun as the young monk withdrew,

Good sir this will never do,

For the vicar is quicker and slicker and thicker,

and longer and stronger than you. :D

Update

Hey there, I have had a couple of people ask me where they can read my stories because I mentioned in post that I was a new author. I had forgotten I even started this thread! Just an update - I published several stories, but then took them down for personal reasons. So, there is no place to find my writings at the moment. Sorry! Maybe someday I'll write something new, but for now I am just messing around on the forums.

Thanks for everyone's support and interest, BTW.
