U.S. Team,

COVID-19 cases are surging at the highest rates yet with 4.9M+ active cases in the U.S. today, and our internal case rates are increasing roughly 10% each week. In addition, state and local governments are reinstating restrictions along with interstate travel and quarantine requirements. While there has been positive progress on a vaccine recently, the situation remains critical and it is expected to continue as we approach the holiday and winter season.

As such, we are extending the current remote work arrangements through at least March 1, 2021. This will enable continued risk mitigation at our sites, while ensuring you can spend the holidays with your loved ones without worrying about changes at work. Exceptions will continue to require approval from your manager. As shared previously, additional work arrangements such as flexible work hours will also be available for employees starting Jan 1, 2021. More to come soon.

Celebrate Thanksgiving Safely

As we head into the holiday this week, we encourage you to take this time to refresh and recharge, but we urge you to do so safely. Stay vigilant with prevention measures—distancing, hand washing, and face coverings—and follow all local restrictions and travel advisories.

In addition, remember that your personal activities outside of working hours can impact your friends and co-workers. Understand the risk of your holiday activities and gatherings and refer to the latest guidance from the CDC for celebrating Thanksgiving safely, which strongly recommends that people avoid traveling and take extra precautions to help stop the spread. While your approach is a personal decision, we must all do our part to keep each other safe.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely. Thank you for your continued hard work, determination, and perseverance throughout these extraordinary times. For more information, visit the COVID-19 resource hub on My.******.com.
