My family keeps telling me that with the size of shoe I wear, I should be about two inches taller. I didn't think there was any proportionate relation between height and shoe size, but I always was one to defy the laws of physics. So what size shoe do you where?

*lol* Interesting to see how the women respond... but for guys it's not much different then the "how big is your cock" threads that keep coming up...

Anyway, I have big feet. Ack!
Yeah, uh huh. Those are quite some flippers you got there.

Speaking of proportionality, my first roommate's mom was the daughter of a diplomat and lived in China as a child. In deference to local culture, her parents bound her feet for a while. Not long enough to cause disfigurement, but as an adult she was 5'9" and had size 5 feet. Looked really odd.

I have big feet, too. Size 9, and I'm 5'6". I don't think they look too big for my body, though.

Size 13 - but then I am a pretty tall guy. My nephew who is not as tall, but is larger, has huge feet - something like 16-17 IIRC.

STG

I'm 5'2" and with shoes or sandals (Barefoot or pantyhose) I wear a size 6 to 6 and a Half depending on the style.

Sneakers are 7.

These are in women's sizes of course. I think I wear a 5 and a half boys sneaker.

Size 10-1/2. Dillinger's comment is interesting. You know what they say?

Big feet,

Big shoes.

Well, I thought it was funny.

I wear a size 10! I'd bet if I chopped my toes off, I'd wear a nice size 7.

That reminds me of another foot story. One year for Halloween, I went as Cinderella's stepsister. In the non-Disneyfied version of the fairytale, the stepsisters attempted to pass themselves off as Cinderella by slicing off their heels and toes in order to squeeze their feet into the glass slippers. So I took my mom's red lipstick, painted my toes, and wore a pair of clear acrylic Cinderella shoes. No one else got it. :(

I'm a size 45 in european sizes, I have no clue as to what that is in US sizes! Why can't you just adapt our system! ;)

Dayum! Now, that IS funny!

* made me spew through my nose!* :p

I don't think I've ever made anyone snarf on here before. Woohoo! First a title, now this! I must be on some sort of Lit goal streak. :D

I'm 5'4 and depending on the kind of shoe I wear an 8 or a 9.

I'm 5'8" and I wear a 7 1/2 shoe, though I used to wear a 6 1/2 to 7 before I had my daughter. They say your foot grows during pregnancy. Something about the ligiments relaxing or stretching due to all those hormones running thru your body. I never believed it till it happened to me.

ok shyguy, I'll do the math for you, @ 10-10 1/2

Me, 9 1/2 U.S. 43 European for the metrics around here

I have really big feet! I wear a size ... 11!!!
(Sometimes 10, sometimes 12, but generally 11)

Yes, I am female too!

I'm 5'7" and I wear a 5 1/2 or a 6.

I had a podiatrist tell me once my feet should at least be a seven and wanted to know if I had balance problems (I don't). Can one size really make that much of a difference?
