I assume you're asking about an avatar?

Avatars require 100 posts before you can post one. They must be no more than 150 pixels in the largest dimension and less than 15kb.

Other image limits that don't require a minimum nimber of posts:

A Profile Picture for your forum profile which can be: "The maximum size of your custom image is 250 by 250 pixels or 29.3 KB (whichever is smaller)."

Attachments can be up to 800x600x100KB but exceeding any one limit will cause a rejection -- i.e. a portrait oriented 480x640 image is too large, but the same image in landscape orientation, 640x480, is just fine.

I dont recall the limits for member/author's profile picture on the main site off-hand, but the limits are clearly given on the page to upload it.

literotica does have some weird rules about pictures, If all else fails (im not sure if this is allowed) you can always go to some of the picture url picture post providers... photobucket or the such. they have more leenient rules about pic size and resolution, but then again you have to link directly to them to get the photo... also it becomes a Free internet file just floating there. if any one knows the url then they can pull it up.

1gig worth in attachments? wow. i havent seen many pictures taken with digital cameras that are over 1 meg. that es a lot of attachments.

102400 bytes is exactly one hundred KB not one GB.

One giga-byte is 1,073,741,824 bytes.
