What should I get first....

Ok people, I wanna spent some money I saved. (And yes, I already have donated some money to the Tsunami-victims)

Now I can't really decide on what to get first.... A digital camera (I don't have ANY camera ta all at the moment and I badly want to take some pictures again) or contact lenses (I fucking hate my glasses, they are annyoing and I can't seem to find glasses that really suit me) ?

A Digi-cam would cost more and I really think I oughta try contacts since I need new glasses anyways.

On the other hand, I'm a little anxious about whether I will get along fine with contacts and I wanted a cam for a longer time now.

Oh, and I can't afford both right now.

What do you guys think?

I voted for the cam. It shouldn't be as expensive as contacts so you just continue saving for them (plus you already have glasses so it's not like you won't be able to see the pics you take, and share ).

I voted for contact lenses, because it was the most incredible experience for me to be able to see without glasses. It was 20 years ago, but I remember almost crying at the doc's office that first day, and then spent the next few months in total wonder at all the things I could do without those glasses in the way.

Last year, I went all the way and had LASIK - BEST thing I ever spent money on.

You know I'm always going to vote for porn. Recently I got a check for some back wages from a job I had a long time ago. After paying a few bills and sending some to Tsunami relief, I pretty much squandered the rest on gay porn. Porn is always my guilty splurge. I voted for a digital cam, because although I'm sure you're not ugly, there are glasses out there that can look great. (I have some that have been described as "sexy" and I've been told, "You look so fucking smart and hot in those.") Just go to a nice glasses store and have the cute salesgirl help you pick out some that look good on you. Contacts are a pain in the ass, although I do like the side vision.

Digital cameras have more uses. That's my vote. Get a cheaper one, and then get some really good pay porn.

I say camera because I can't wear contacts (but I won't be jealous if you can wear them…honest, I won't be…not a bit…). I am allergic to my own tears and the contacts make me tear and my eyes swell shut. I look ugly and it hurts, too. Sucks.

I'd go with the cam. Since you already have glasses, it's not like your vision will be suffering from it. Glasses are a lot more stylish nowadays, so I'm sure you can find a pair which suits you.

Most certainly! They'll be with you all day.

I wear O2 - Optix -

They are very comfortable and cost about $22.00 for a box of six disposable lenses.

They last for a month and though I wouldn't recommend it you can even sleep in them.

I'd go for an eye exam and contacts. And once you get your initial exam you buy them from 1-800-contacts - cheaper.

Then buy an inexpensive digital camera - they're coming down in price all the time.
