I think only Shadowsource has said on this thread that he has actually done it, but he doesn't seem to be confirming whether it was his aunt or his cousin that he fucked. For the rest of us, you got a few votes for each of your potential answers I think.

Legally, I think both cousin and aunt/uncle is incest. But I'm not a lawyer and I have no clue if the law differs by state. I expect that it does. For me, all of them would be in the "just yuck" category as well as the immoral category. That is personal opinion, however.

Pokerman has the same question I did, though. What about the aunt/uncle who isn't your blood relative? I think that legally they are probably still in the incest category, but I'm not sure. The physical dangers aren't there as far as having a child with a close relative, since they aren't a blood relative. But, my guess is these relationships are still considered incest because the power/control remains with the older aunt/uncle in many cases. That gives the aunt or uncle an unfair advantage in influencing their niece/nephew into the incestuous relationship.

Throw in another scenario where the aunt/uncle is not a blood relative and is closer in age to the niece/nephew. That scenario is probably a little harder call incest- it is more like an affair.

In most localities second cousins and any cousin with the word "removed" in the title are legally allowed to marry. First cousings are not. Take it from there.

If that's not enough, go and ask a breeder of any sort of critter why then never breed close relatives.

With regards to critter breeding.If you race dogs,pigeons or horses it is not uncommon to breed to a common ancestor.An animal may have the same grand parents appearing on both sides of its pedigree.This would be our idea of first cousins.The idea is to try to get the progeny to inherit the best characteristics of said ancestors.Then you cross out on the next generation to TOTALLY unrelated animal.The genetic term is line breeding.It is a common practice.Luckily I realise I am not a pigeon......and I definitely have no qualities whatsoever that anyone would wish to perpetuate by line breeding.....but I do have a nice smile :0)

I think it comes down to boundaries...even if the neice or aunt isn't a blood relative, it's overstepping a defined boundary which needs to be clearly defined in our lives in order for us to function socially (as a society). I guess what really matters is how hot she is...
