What exactly do eyes tell you? I've never been able to read anything into someone's eyes.
The face is the thing I look at first. It doesn't have to be pretty (though that is a plus), it just has to have an openness about it, maybe a nice smile. You could get away with an open scar across your cheek if you just gave a nice sincere smile.
A sense of humor is also important, particularly a sarcastic, smartass one.

What do I find attractive? Height, he has to be tall. A nice butt and a good set of shoulders are nice. And hair, either long or a military-type cut.
Shallow? Perhaps, but you did ask what attracted my attention. What makes me want to get to know a man, well that is a different list entirely.

I use to have it all nailed down, blonde hair, blue eye, athletic, smart, easy to talk to, and a host of other things. Of course, someone had to come into my life and screw that all up. Still though, I have to be honest, eyes are what still get me. I just feel you can tell whether someone is open and honest through their eyes. After that, who the hell knows anymore.
