What pissed you off today? Mark III

'Friends' are people that haven't screwed you over as badly as everyone else has ... yet.

Go piss in your own Cheerios.

I don't know, I'm starting to believe there might be some truth to it. Many of my friends have been gloriously sucky this year. A lot of canceling plans and only wanting to hang out when things aren't going so well for them and they need to vent.

One particularly sucky friend spent a large part of the spring harassing me about something I was going to do which she deemed wouldn't go well. Finding new angles over and over again. It was funny until it wasn't anymore.

When everything went really well and I was more than satisfied with the result, rather than be happy about it, she's now decided that it didn't go well enough. Now she is harping on me with comments like "but it could have been XYZ and that would have been awesome, but it wasn't, so are you sure it went well, and at the very least you definitely shouldn't do it again because that's just tempting fate".

She was a close friend, too. Was being the operative word here, because her attitude hasn't made me want to spend all that much time with her recently. I don't really understand why she keeps bringing up this one thing and tries to make me feel bad about it, but fun it ain't and I've told her as much. No change in attitude.

And then there are those friends who flat out don't want to go to a beer festival with me. So sucky! The suckiest really. :p

The lady next to me during yoga class wanting to make small talk during class.

I found a dress today that was awesome. The fit was amazing, it draped beautifully, it was just the right shape for me, I felt great wearing it, and at 50% off it was also cheap as chips.

But the fabric just was butt ugly. So, so ugly.

Arsonists have a special place in Hell. Had to evacuate because of a shitstain that set his neighbors house on fire. In a forest. During a drought. Gah.

Those damn squirrels. Keep getting at the peanuts in my bird feeder and not leaving any for the birds.

Having to write an email to three people at work to tell them I am NOT coming into the office until Monday, and I will NOT look at their code to "make sure it's right."

The JA that hooked his Golf Bar so far left that it hit my deck railing on the fly and bounced into one of my picture windows and back onto the yard below. Luckily nothing broke. Keep in mind this is a two story house. I sit back 50 yard off the course. The second coming of Charles Barkley had to work at it. What made me mad, was he and his buddies heard it hit the house and they were feeling no pain and waited till they thought the coast was clear and acted like nothing happened then got smart with me. People have no respect.

The sky is dark with smoke and the air is thick. You wouldn't know it was daytime here unless you looked at the clock.

Almost got to travel somewhere really cool for work, but I'm "needed too much" here and so someone else gets to go. :(

The sky is dark with smoke and the air is thick. You wouldn't know it was daytime here unless you looked at the clock. I can't catch my breath even though I'm inside with the AC running. It's been like this for weeks, with only a short break. I want to be able to breathe again without my lungs hurting and my eyes watering.

This smoke! Damn. Good luck to those in BC!

We've had a trickle down effect here in the midwest. I can't imagine what you're dealing with.

:(

Not really being into food today, when I normally love food.
Also, people I grew up with who say they will beat their kids if they don’t stand for the pledge of allegiance.
Fascists.

Being asked for a reference for my best team member. So I told them "he's great, you should hire him, but please don't," and they did :-(

(seriously though it's good to see him succeeding, even if it means losing him from the team)
