Wasted an hour of my time today organising something that then fell through when one of the key people pulled out at the last minute because of a commitment he probably knew about days ago. Without so much as a "sorry" to everybody else involved.
Yep. I have no issue with people dropping out because they're sick or other such stuff, but this one just felt like "decided I didn't feel like it at the last minute".Ugh, I hate when people do that.
I know someone who frequently feels the need to change time and date for an event only to not be able to come anyway or to then want to change it back.
Oh no.I believe I have shingles and it's heading toward my right eye. Have seen a doc, am on meds. At first, thought it was poison oak or ivy or some icky rash. Shingles was a possibility but it was in early stages so doc wasn't sure. This really sucks. Face is on fire.
Shingles sucks badly. Been there. Take it easy and good luck…I believe I have shingles and it's heading toward my right eye. Have seen a doc, am on meds. I can't figure out how to multi quote so thanks everyone!
I'm back at doc - waiting for her now. The icky stuff moved to eyelid
I never even thought about getting the shingles vax!! They recommend it for us oldies (I'm 60)
Just found out my boyfriend has covid!
Crazy
So, what did the doc say? Shingles, yay or nay?I can't figure out how to multi quote so thanks everyone!

aww but knowing what your health issues are is half the way to get better
It was my bday a few days ago. I spent the morning at the eye doc, I have an eye infection. Swollen left eye, oozy gunk. Ugh.
So it wasn't shingles before, just a rash. JUST.Swollen right eye. Welts, hives, blisters in face, neck, arms, tummy, back. Once I was on right meds, it cleared up fairly quickly but man, it was a miserable week.
Prior to that, had lump in breast. Biopsied. Thankfully negative.
Just got blood work back, my cholesterol is sky high. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year but got A1c down to 5.4. But now the cholesterol????
I realize in the big scope of life, I'm ok. I tell ya though - turned 61 and I'm falling apart little by little! Grrrrr.
I guess I've had the fortune to take my health for granted up until recently.
Lately I've been reevaluating my hobbies. Thinking my health will be a new hobby?!

The actions of the goddamned Supreme Court.
When I get home from vacation, I'm going to start making arrangements to get my tubes tied, before they take that away from us, too.
