What other sites do people here visit, im looking for another message board. I like this one but i want to get involved in other message boards (pretty much containing sexual content blah blah etc) So yeah HELP. im too lazy to look for myself anymore, or actually i have and i cant find any forums that are actually good and hold my interest. And no id ont know where to post this question so i posted it here cause i felt like it.

One thing I have noticed about my short time here at Lit is... if you want attention... and friends, you have to go to them. Go the distance. They certainly wont come to you. The boards are fun and entertaining though, a one of a kind place in my opinion.

I've met some really great people here, especially on this how to board. The GB is more like a pit of.... venom for lack of a better word?

LOL! On the GB perhaps. But not here. I stopped posting to the GB or even visiting it much. Too much fighting, its impossible to have a serious conversation there.

Now HowTo is another story. If only I could convince more people to use the IRC room we set up.

At that rate, it's no wonder you feel that way. You need to post more and let people get to know you. If you read a post the particularly moves or interests you, send that person a PM and let them know.

This place is only as bad or good as you make it. I'm certainly not the post whore some of the people on the GB are, but I have met some very nice people here over the years who I can truly call friends. You can do the same. Just click that little button in the corner marked "Post Reply". It works wonders when used frequently.

Yes, but Bobmi, you have to remember that I was away from lit for almost six months directly after I joined, which gave me a disadvantage to post numbers.

Funny you should say that. When I first came here, I wondered where all the old folk like me hung out since all I could find were youngsters.

Seriously, there are a lot of people here your age. If you want to find them, why don't you start a thread (the Playground is probably the best place) for twenty-somethings? Explain what you told us here in this thread--ok, you might want to leave out the idiots part--and see what kind of response you get.

There may already be a thread for twenty-somethings out there for all I know. If so, try posting on it. What have you got to lose? It has to be easier than trying to find another board and establishing yourself there, right?
