What OCD Tendencies Do You Have?

So I've been watching some of the tennis tonight and my word the players have some quirks  The way they bounce the ball before serving, the ever so particular way they have their towels/drink bottles positioned at a change of ends, would feel sorry for them if they didn't earn so much!

I'm I normal in...

- Absolutely making positively sure the TV volume is an even number.
- Checking doors are locked when I go out, then going back to re-check them when I'm half way down the road.
- Mentally repeating something important twice.

- Stairs. Always skip one in each block, little steps are no good!
- Racing cars ahead of me on the motorway, using some object like a bridge or a signpost ahead as a finishing line.
- Going to lunch at quarter hours, if its 16 minutes past I'll wait another 14 minutes even if I intended on taking lunch a minute earlier.

Relax, open your mind, tell us how crazy you are!

I like doing certain things in even numbers; your TV volume example is something I can relate to.

I believe in double birth control (preferably 1 barrier and 1 hormonal)...does that make me OCD or just paranoid?

I don't have many of the other "normal" things going on in your list, but the checking if the doors are locked and then completely being unable to remember whether I locked the doors, closed the garage door, turned off the coffee maker, etc. is right up my alley. I've found that (fortunately) after a few drinks most of my OCD tendencies seem to not rear their ugly heads.

I have to make sure everything is exactly in the right place on my desk before I can start working. Co-workers give me crap for it all the time.

Off topic...but if I ever started a band (which I won't), I'd call it Eat Yellow Snow.

I have to collect entire sets of pictures. When I download porn, I save the entire set, even if it's just one of the pictures I'm interested in.

When I get an IM or PM, I always look at their profile and try to learn something about them, even if it's something I won't, or can't use.

I always run up the stairs at night when I'm the last one to go upstairs, something in the back of my head tells me I don't want to get caught on the stairs by anything hiding in the newly darkened downstairs.

I always send a reply to an e-mail (unless business related), if someone wants to stop talking to me through e-mail, they have to stop sending them first. (I used to do this with IMs and PMs as well, but recent fits of insanity have made me relax this a bit).

Another one for the even number on TV volume.
And no, it doesn't make you paranoid (double BC), just damned smart! I'm childfree so I get where you're coming from.
I check my email way too much. But lots of times, there's good stuff in it ;)
Towels and washcloths must be hung straight with no uneven edges.
Coffee pot must be straight, also.
