He's saying a vote for Romney might as well be a vote for Obama. Debatable, but he's being pounded by the right for saying it.

Then, some idiot woman blurted out something when Santorum was shooting at a range, further embarrassing him.

If Santorum and Romney were Democrats, the press would simply chuckle and say, "It's the silly season."
