What next?

My 200th is still my most recent published, but my next WIP is at the editing phase with my betareader.

Now, I am having more trouble focusing on a particular idea. not a new problem, as those of you who supported me through my 200th puzzling may recall.
So i thought i might seek more feedback.

this is simply the basic list on my ideas document:

1.Nude Beach Bride ch.9 - twenty years later the couple return to the site of the honeymoon
2. ITMCD
3. Locked in a crate- sequel to Locked in the Closet. Thugh i sort of sequeled that story in my WIP, with no crate involved.
4. Random LW- a revisit to my first category.
5.Snuggling Seniors
6.Catgirls
7.My 200th conquest - a play off the 200th submission idea, with sex partner counting instead of story submissions.
8.Mistlestoad - a sequel to a popular old series
9.Sally- revisit the starlet of the Grandpa Wake Up series five years later.
10. "Read me a Story"

Then there is this Plot bunny:

As I lay there in my lonely bed, suspended between sleep and waking, I had a dream about a young prince being seduced by his mother, the Dowager Queen. A few disjointed images of very steamy kinky sex was all that I got. The effort of trying to figure out the plot, and push the sex along, just made me fully awake. So this is all I ended up with.



Not sure whether the MC Prince is the heir to the throne, or the younger brother of the heir apparent. Of course, if Mom is the Dowager Queen, Dad the King must be dead, so why isn't the Prince the king? Maybe that's part of the plot. Maybe it takes place in that gap when the royal councillors are debating succession?

I'm usually good for at least three parts, sometimes four. And two of my popular series, Grandopa Wake Up and No More Monkeys, are 5 and 6 chapters respectively. My trick was adding fresh characters in later chapters to add variety.

But your basic point is valid. That's why the "Incest, Tentacle Moster, Crossdressing" combo intrigues me. I've written well in all three categories, but the overlap is challenging. I confirmed this with a couple of false starts. It is also why I enjoy occassionally trying what I call "experimental" stories where I try totally new things wiithout worrying too much about the feedback (except as a measure of what worked or didn't). Examples of that in my work include the very old "Twisted Snow", written for a "fairy tale challenge" and more recently "Mom's New Cock", which was totally random, knocked off in one sitting, stream of consciousness. I also try to avoid getting stale by mixing genres. Like not doing two incest tales in a row. My current WIP has features of several genres, including Gay Male. Viewed as one work, it continues a bit of a trend towards longer stories, but I expect to post it in three chapters of 4K to 7K each. Numbers 198 and 199 were also less long. And number 199 was my first ever How To entry.
