i'm curious what makes you look at particular strings on the Sexual Role Playing board?

Name of the starter?
Name of the responder?
Subject matter?
Incest seems to be popular even though some of it is pretty bad. Any thoughts on why?

I do not specifically avoid any particular posters, so who started it doesn't matter really...but there are a few who's threads I will read regardless because they such damn good writers.

Same for last posters.

Since I like some of the more extreme subject matter (as seen by many of MY threads) that doesn't effect my choice either, but certain subjects will draw my eye.

The biggest draw: very low posts #. I am much more likely to read the new threads rather than the well established ones. I don't jump into one of those unless invited to do so. But...if I spend too much time responding to the threads I'm in, I miss the chance to get into some of the good stories. That happened just the other day...read a thread about rape/kidnap, but was too late to jump in. *sigh* Maybe next time ;)

I don't mind the incest threads. I've never actually done one of those, but seeing as how that's the type of story I read, I'm sure I would enjoy it. That's the beauty of this place, you don't have to be afraid of letting your real desires and fantasies show :)

It does sometime depend on who's actually in the thread as well as who started the thread. There are some members whose role writing just does not interest me as well as some members that I would like to 'play' with on an SRP that I have not yet had the chance.

Probably the item that attracts me the most is the topic.

Wait

We have a Sexual Role Playing area too? When did that happen?

I'm with the Countess.

Can't bring myself to join a long established line,

Intrigued by some titles.

A few writers that I remember reading. Almost never the ones famous for smartass remarks.

Curiousity takes me into some of the incest ones, but haven't found one that was actually tastefull or interesting.

For me there are several posters that I always read but sometimes it is the title of the thread that catches my interest.

I always just avoid the ones that sound like a smartass wrote it just to hook us on something really simple minded and obvious.

I look for the ones that have some thoughtfullness in the subject.

for me its a combination of all three.

What she said! ~winks~ I think it's a combination of all of the above. The title is obviously a hook, the subject matter, and sometimes the person starting is a factor.

Ciao!
