The way that most people will take care of each other when it really comes down to it. I’ve been surrounded by people a lot worse off than me standing in the rain and still been offered a spot under an umbrella. I’ve had people offer for me to jump ahead in the grocery line because I had less but heavier items. I look out for other women in public and make myself known if they look uncomfortable.

People genuinely look out for each other and that is in my opinion the greatest form of love.

I think this is how people who have respect for others act. This is how "human beings" should act. I myself have been on both ends of these kind acts.
As far as Love. There are different types. The love you feel for a partner a parent a child. You have in your mind that there is nothing in the world that you wouldn't do for them. And nobody would be placed in front of them or replace them.
You cant ask someone how you know when your in love. You know when your in Love.

Love at its most basic, is wanting good for another person.

Being in love is when both people share that desire for good for each other, and make a personal commitment to make good happen.

I'm curious too..
I was married for 25 years to a man who was 100% devoted to our marriage, and me. He loved me, probably slightly more than I loved him.
Love is real, but rare for 2 people to be on the same page, at the same time.
I have had love for guys I regret loving in hindsight.
Do I believe in love?
Not today.

To me, its more the small moments. A little extra effort here or there to seem more warm or kind, even if your mood is shot.

The moments where something funny happens abd you can both laugh at yourselves.

Hell, just kiss. Kiss for no reason. Just a quick one, and realize those moments are the mortar that holds the house together.

I know a soul that I love so much.. the way he appreciates me, and his intentions are pure... That makes me believe.
