Everyone complains when the board is slow. But what do you consider slow?

The lack of threads?

The lack of posters?

The lack of new posts?

The lack of munchies on the side?

What do you think makes the board slow?

b/c no matter how hard i push down on the damn accelerator, it only goes 35 mph... i feel like a little old man driving that damn slow!!!

I'm not sure what constitutes slow for me. I only know that when I feel like it is slow, I usually take that as a signal that I should be getting on with writing, or whatever else, rather than sitting around waiting for something new to be posted.

I mean I realize that I spend too much time here, and I do it anyway, but on the days when I also realize that I'm here so much that I'm seeing the same threads with no action...then I say, "Okay, Whisper, you're being REALLY pathetic today. Move along."

The only thing I consider "slow" is when it takes forever for the pages to load.

Whenever there is no new activity, I go elsewhere for a while, and come back when others have had time to catch up and contribute.

I never complain about a lack of activity, because I know that when I wake up the next day there will be at least apge of new activity to keep me occupied for a while.

Yeah that's very true. This board is one of the fastest one's that I've ever been apart of. Sure not all the threads are good(I'd say on the average day, about 5 percent of the threads in the general board interest me)but the site is always popping with new posts. It's just that not all of them are very interesting to some people.

I must be the slow one. I can't keep up with the new posts, even on a slow day!
